White and Black...

White and Black...

Kid-Romeo
whats a color its just a word....any other assupmtion is just absurd
people make it seem so bad......the public makes everyone sad
so what if i am black and you are white...i am willing too win this fight
they call us bad names....this sends vibrations affects our brains
you always been told black is bad...i always loved white made others mad
were made for each other...neglect and rejection from father and mother
red black blue or green...the same blood flows under the skin
discrimination is a terrible sin....defeat never, we must win
the rain starts too pour...i hold you...mi amor..
no one can end this, no matter what.....it's meant too be from the start
this isn't our fault...lets take it with grain of salt
choclate milk everyone drinks..our love everyone says it stinks
you bring daylight into my life...i'd rather die if your not my wife
our colors are our enemy...our love is the cure, a remedy
no matter what good or bad, in the end lets not be sad
sounds of a sweet melody..as we live - so we will die
In Perfect Harmony

Excellent! I agree with Alfonso. I'm mixed with blk/wht/native american and my husband is black. When we go places, some people tend to think I'm Mexican and some give us stares for being together. It's crazy how messed up this world still is. We teach our kids to love everyone and since I homeschool them, they learn about many cultures in their schooling and we also live in a very diverse neighborhood, which I think is important. I hope the kids don't have to see some of the things we saw as children related to racial issues.

An Excellent free flowing verse of truth and light-how frail our society still is.
