Whitney Houston is Back

Whitney Houston has always been my favorite singer of all times, I fall in love with her when the movie Bodyguard aired. I would never forget the song she sang on the soundtrack 'I Will Always Love You'. It was then when I knew her voice was truly a blessing and gift for the whole world.

Whitney was born August 9, 1963 to Cissy Houston, Whitney was no stranger to the lime light. Her mother is a Grammy winning gospel singer, her cousins Dee Dee, Dionne Warwick and Aretha Franklin her godmother. With talented and legendary singers like this among her, she was bound to be legendary herself. Just like her mom Whitney Houston started sing in church choirs in her younger years. Whitney use to sing alongside her mother in night clubs before she was discovered by Clive Davis from Arista records.

Whitney Houston debut album Whitney Houston was a smash hit, making history as the best selling debut album by female artist. Her second album Whitney made history as first album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart. Whitney will go on to make history sing The Star Spangled Banner. She was the only artist to actually turn The Star Spangled Banner into a pop song. VH1 named Whitney sing The Star Spangle Banner at the Super Bowl XXV January 1991 12th greatest moments that rocked TV. Her recording of the national anthem was released for commercial single reaching top 20 and US top 100.

Whitney was romantically involved with impressive males she dated Eddie Murphy, and all American football star Randall Cunningham. She dated Bobby Brown for about two years when they got married to him in July 18, 1992. Nearly a year later she gives birth to Bobby fourth child and her first child Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown on March 4th. Whitney will go on to be in a host of movies and win awards for her albums.

My girl Whitney has released a new album called I Look to You, Monday. The single from that album called Million Dollar Bill which many radio stations taken to the single warmly. Whitney has agreed to one big T.V. interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show set to air September 14. September 1, Whitney will tape a performance in New York City Central Park for ABC's Good Morning America. A few magazine stories are in the work for Whitney, an appearance on the cover of Ebony Magazine next issue, possibly a concert tour next year in the works for Whitney Houston.
