Whitney Opens Up with Oprah Part II

Watching and listening to Whitney recall how her life and marriage spiraled out of control, gave me the confidence to know that no matter what I may go through, if it does not kill you it can only make you stronger.

Whitney prayed for the strength to leave Bobby Brown. She said the way she finally left Bobby she told him, "she was going to get some sugar at the store and she never came back. She and Bobby Christina moved to California."

Whitney spoke of how hard it was on her daughter when she left, and the anger Bobbi Christina felt because she held left her dad, and probably jjust being a teenager and angst teenagers feel.

Even after moving to California, she didn't think that her marriage was over at least she hoped Bobby would come for her, but he never did. She was not completely ready to give up this addiction or habit. It was only after extra marital affairs on Bobby's part that she finally decided to call it quits on the marriage and also on her drug dependency.....Whitney had had enough. She did not want her daughter to define love from her and Bobby's marriage.

The thing that makes me feel good is that her mother never completely gave up on her, she knew somewhere inside this thin lost woman was her daughter Whitney. Mothers are always a strength to their children if they love and nurture them and no matter how far a child may wander off the path, if given the right wisdom and love from childhood, a child will find their way back onto that path again.

I like the part when Whitney said that "she knew inside her was a fighter."

Bobbi Christina gave Whitney the epiphany to divorce her father. Just by viewing the Internet and watching the television and seeing who was there for her....her mom and who was not......her dad. She knew that her mother deserved better and even went as far as to tell her mother that.

Whitney spoke of Clive Davis never giving up on her because he knew the inner strength that this woman possessed. Nor did her family and friends who truly had her best interest in mind.

Whitney's sparkle is back and her love for family, friends, life and most important her love for self is back.

She spoke of the deep love for her father and how his death affected her and how she understood that there were people in his camp who only used him for money and misdirected his relationship with Whitney.

When asked about Micheal Jackson she said the news was devastating. She spoke of Micheal being a friend and knowing the whole famiy.

When asked about when Whitney had become her most fragile with her tiny frame, she admitted it was not just drugs that had devastated her body but worrying. I can relate because the first thing that becomes my enemy when I am in an anxiety state is food. I lose my appetite completely.

When Whitney speaks of her love of her life Bobbi Christina she glows, she loves being a mom. She loves watching this young woman who was apart of her for nine months become this young woman and they have formed a complete loving and trusting bond.

Whitney says, "this is not a come back that she is making but a come through. She is a drug free soldier girl." You go girl! She admits she still thinks about the drug, but with prayer she no longer makes the decision to numb herself with cocaine laced marijuana cigarettes.

Of course to top the hour off Whitney sang from her "I look to you," CD "I didn't know my own strength." A song quite fitting for someone who has hit rock bottom and finding that inner strength to get back up again. This song truly has meaning.

Whitney says, "she has no regrets over anything that has happened in her life, it has helped her to become the person she is today."

I along with so many other people were truly rooting her on and I am so glad that she was able to come through this a much stronger person with the self love that we all need in order that this life never take us to a point that we can't return.

So I would just like to say, "Bravo Whitney" and "welcome back girlfriend!"
