He's Not Really Beastly - Alex Pettyfer is Quite the Opposite
Born in 1990 in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, this young Englishman is the son of actor Richard Pettyfer and Lee Ireland, a former model. Alex Pettyfer began acting during his school years and starred in the 2005 television production of "Tom Brown's Schooldays" - a performance that helped win him his role in "Alex Ryder." He began as a child fashion model at the age of seven for Gap and also did other advertisements and appeared in commercials.
Pettyfer was offered the lead role in the 2006 movie "Eragon" but turned it down due to his fear of flying. He starred in the 2008 film "Wild Child" and the 2009 film "Tormented."
In 2009 Pettyfer was ranked by the UK magazine Glamour as one of the sexiest men on the planet (he ranked at #21 to be exact) in a poll of 2000 British women. It is certainly easy to see how and why Pettyfer would gain such a title as he is blond-haired eye candy that many young hearts will definitely swoon over once "Beastly" hits theaters.
Romantically, Alex Pettyfer has most notably been linked with actress Emma Roberts even though reports state the two are no longer together. Pettyfer had Roberts' initials tattooed on the inside of his wrist when they were a couple. Roberts co-starred with Pettyfer in "Wild Child" and is the daughter of actor Eric Roberts and niece of Julia Roberts.
In the upcoming movie, "Beastly," Pettyfer has a meaty role that requires his good looks to be overshadowed by a "beastly" appearance in keeping with the fairy tale of an arrogant young man who angers a witch, is cursed by her and must live his life as an ugly beast until he finds someone who will love him despite his appearance. In "Beastly," Pettyfer is joined by co-stars Mary-Kate Olsen as the spell-casting witch and Vanessa Hudgens as the lady love who can break the spell placed upon him.
Beastly is currently slated for a released date in March 2011. Pettyfer is also star of "I Am Number Four," scheduled to be released in theaters February 2011.

you say that alex pettyfer will become well recognized,but i doubt this.alex pettyfer isn't main stream enough and alex pettyfer isn't going around in any of those phony relationships like brad & angelina etc.plus,alex pettyfer lost his/her chance to go out with vanessa hudgens.now THAT would have made alex pettyfer REALLY famous.
