Who Should Have Been Fired on Celebrity Apprentice?

Kathie Trower
The celebrity apprentice is one of those shows that your opinion doesn't count. If it was counted, I would not have fired the person who got it on the March 28th show.

First of all, I think that the women were most unorganized. Cyndi Lauper has a hard time expressing herself, but she is a worker. It takes a strong manager to reel those people in, and let them get to the point. I can hardly wait for Sharon Osbourne to lead a task and see how she handles Lauper. That team seems to be pulled together much better than the men.

The men were somewhat more organized. The men have two kinks in their team, the Governor (Rod Blagojevich) and the Poison man (Bret Michaels). They do not seem to jive with the others. Darryl Strawberry did not do a lot of things that we saw on the clips, but he was a good follower and good PR man. Those other two are not either. The poor Governor seems to be using the show as his mouthpiece and will talk to whoever will listen. I do not think that Mr. Trump wanted him to do that. I want to see him lead a task and see what he can really do to win. Michael Johnson was a good organizer, but his concept of the advertorial was somewhat not on target. He was the leader and instigator, so I think if Darryl Strawberry did not volunteer to go, Michael Johnson would have been fired.

The final products of both teams needed some work. I realize that pictures are important, but words are very strategic to the mission, also. Too many words for the men, and too little for the women, was the final call.

I thought the celebrity choice for the women was good. The men's celebrity choice was not a strong one. Chefs are not portrayed as strong men, but the wrestler, ball player, or Olympian are better choices. I can see how Michael did not want to use himself, but the other two would have proved to be better for the task at hand.

This second man fired concept is a salute to the women, who have had only one woman fired. Does this make the women's team stronger than the men? Time will tell, but knowing Mr. Trump, he will start mixing up men and women soon. Then the survival of the fittest is coming very soon. Then the teams will start playing "down and dirty," and who will win and not the team, is going to be the question before too long.
