Who is the Bigger Idiot?

Rush Limbaugh or Jesse Jackson

Jacob Horn
Every morning Rush Limbaugh, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton ask themselves almost identical questions. Rush says, "What can I say that will sound more idiotic than Jackson and Sharpton?" Jesse says, "What can I say that will sound more idiotic than Limbaugh and Sharpton?" Al says, "What can I say that will sound more idiotic than Limbaugh and Jackson?" These three men, listened to and respected by thousands, prove that even people who are not highly intelligent can get famous and make lots of money. We talk so much about the American dream in this country and some how we forget to mention that if these men can do it so can anybody else.

I have never been a big fan of criticizing the dead. I actually watched the movie [/u]Amelia[/u] last night and I was doing some research when I came across what Gore Vidal said about William Buckley Jr. when he passed a few years ago and it made me furious. Probably should mention that I am a Buckley fan. Anyways, let's try to get back on topic. Most of you probably know what Limbaugh said about George Steinbrenner a few days ago and while I agree with a lot of what Limbaugh says, I cannot understand why anybody would would have negative (or questionable) comments for a person right after their passing. Sharpton, for the first time, hmm, in his life, was actually a voice of reason here. I agreed with Al Sharpton and that rarely, wait, never happens.

Steinbrenner was a lot of things to a lot of people. I have a lot of admiration for the guy. He knew how to put a winning squad on the field. Everybody hated him because they secretly wished their owner would be more like him and I truly believe that. Let me say that I am thinking about his family right now.

To conclude, these past few weeks the idiots have come out in droves, okay not droves but in pairs - see Limbaugh and Jackson. I love opinions and different points of view and while I agree with Voltaire, Limbaugh and Jackson need to take 3 seconds longer to examine the words they are fixing to speak and ask themselves if the world really cares what they are saying.
