Who Should Challenge the Undertaker's Perfect Record at Wrestlemania 25?

The Dead Man Needs a New Partner for the Big Dance

Every year, a new challenger steps up to attempt the impossible: beating The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. The Dead Man is 18-0, and many of the best challengers have already tried and failed.

Here are some ideas for who could face The Undertaker on March 28 at Wrestlemania 25 and why it's a good (or bad) idea:

5. Ted DiBiase

For months, fans have speculated that DiBiase would turn babyface to coincide with his starring role in "The Marine 2." Well, that hasn't happened. He's still teaming with Cody Rhodes in the Legacy stable.

Other fans have speculated that DiBiase would end The Undertaker's streak and career, since his father, "The Million-Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase Sr., brought Undertaker into the WWE at the 1990 Survivor Series.

If the WWE has plans to make DiBiase into a big singles star, that process hasn't even begun, so trying it this year would be premature.

4. Sheamus

WWE could do one of two things with Sheamus: make his title win look like a fluke, or keep pushing him hard. I wouldn't mind seeing Sheamus keep the WWE title until Wrestlemania and have him face The Undertaker with the title and the streak on the line.

Even if Shaemus loses, he will still look super strong going into Wrestlemania 25 with the title and challenging Taker's perfect record.

3. Shawn Michaels

Many people have this penciled this match in for Wrestlemania, but I think a rematch from last year's classic is bound to be a mistake. I don't think they should ever wrestle again, so their Wrestlemania 25 battle will stand out as an all-time classic.

Think about the classic Randy Savage-Ricky Steamboat match at Wrestlemania 3. If they would have met one year later (and they almost did meet in the title tournament), the match could never have lived up to the previous year's bout.

2. Floyd "Money" Mayweather

Money has already fought at Wrestlemania and beaten the Big Show, but a boxer vs. wrestler match against The Undertaker would give fans a guaranteed historical event.

Either Money would end Undertaker's historic perfect record, or The Undertaker would hang a loss on Mayweather, who has a perfect boxing record.

1. John Cena

Two of the WWE's biggest heroes would meet in the main event of Wrestlemania 25, preferable for The Undertaker's World title, and the WWE, which Cena could win at Elimination Chamber.

I think WWE should go back to one Undisputed champion (like when Brock Lesnar had the belt). This would also increase the prestige of the US and IC belts.

So put both belts and the perfect record on the line in the main event of Wrestlemania 25! It could start a new era in the WWE with one champion to be the face of the company.
