Who Decided Matt Damon is the Sexiest Man Alive?

Apparently, according to the December 3, 2007, edition of People magazine Matt Damon is the "Sexiest Man Alive." Ben Affleck and George Clooney back their buddy who is said to be "the most reluctant Sexiest Man Alive." He has reason to be reluctant. The kid is not sexy.

Matt Damon is popular because of the hit Bourne Identity movie series. He may sell magazines, but sexy, come on. He is sexy only if People is redefining sexy.

He has assets, sure. He is built like a football player, but I'm not sure that a solid frame and baby face qualify as sexy. I much prefer a man who is a little rough around the edges. Maybe Matt Damon has more edge to him than People portrays. However, the cover picture depicts him as a metrosexual. That is just not attractive to me.

Hey, you're entitled to your own opinion. Maybe time has taught me to appreciate the mind, work ethic, and life view of a man with more than a teenage build. Show me someone muscular and toned, not beefy. Introduce me to someone who can engage me in intellectual conversation. Most of all show me someone with calluses on his hands. Men with soft hands and sweet cheeks aren't hot.

Since when did popularity and celebrity define sexy? Sometimes they go together, but not always. Would you want to sleep with Mr. Bean?

Matt Damon hasn't paid his dues. He skyrocketed to fame and now he is the "Sexiest man Alive?" I don't think so. Nice guy, I have no idea. Nice looking, he's alright, not half as hot as my husband. What editor had his head up his rear when this decision was made? Did I miss a vote?

Matt Damon, I appreciate his work, but I'd rather see someone with a little grit on People's "Sexiest Man Alive Issue." What's wrong with George Clooney winning two years straight
