There were both good and sub-par performances during the April 20 American Idol performance show, and really not much that the four judges found to be positive during the show. The top seven each performed songs that were less than two minutes long after the arrangements had been completed, but it was pretty clear that both the judges and audience liked the performance of Crystal Bowersox more than that of the other six contestants. Below we have linked videos from the April 20 performance show to enjoy one last time.

The two hour Idol Gives Back charity worked to keep its viewers for the full duration, putting off the April 21 elimination until the very end in order to keep the suspense building and to keep people from possibly switching the channel. It has become a common practice of the show during these charity events, but it is usually set aside as viewers get to enjoy some one-of-a-kind performances designed to inspire. At least they didn't make us all wait until the very end of the two-hour marathon show before some of the results started being revealed.
2010 American Idol April 21 Results
The first two of the American Idol top seven to be revealed as safe were Crystal Bowersox and Lee Dewyze. They also gave us two of the bottom three contestants in the first hour as well. The first two contestants revealed to be part of the bottom three were Casey James and Aaron Kelly. It took about half an hour to get back to the results in between all of the guest performances, but it was then revealed that Siobhan Magnus and then Michael Lynche were also safe. That put Tim Urban into the bottom three with the other two that were named in the first hour.
The April 21 American Idol bottom three were Casey James, Aaron Kelly, and Tim Urban. They didn't get to the final elimination until around 20 minutes after the show should have ended. First Aaron Kelly was told he was safe, and then it was Casey James who was told he was safe. That meant the April 21 American Idol elimination was Tim Urban.

Post a Commenti just found this site and wish i had found it earlier. my dvr cut off an 2hrs and 10 min. and like others it was already too late by the time i heard ryan say the show was gonna go over because the recording had already stopped!!UGH needless to say i just now found out the tim was the one voted off. i hope crystal and lee make the top two. they seem to be the most humble and sincere. mike just seems a little to full of himself and i don't like that. he was definitely shocked when he almost got voted off. he hasn't really done anything to impress me or make me want to keep him around much longer.

I am so glad you wrote this. I actually set my DVR to record for 15 minutes after the show was supposed to end and I still got cut off. They should really post the shows to the web so people can watch later especially if they aren't gonna keep a schedule. It is 2010...everyone TiVo's or DVR's...

This is awesome. I was upset that I didn't get to find out who got cut because my DVR stopped recording. I was surprised to see it already posted up! Thanks so much!
About time Tim got voted off. He was alright, but definetly not in the same catergory as everyone else. Its gonna be Crytal and Lee, final two. Well, it should be anyways :)
My DVR stopped recording after 2 hours....Thanks FOX for letting the viewers know ahead of time that we would need to set our DVR for more than 2 hours...THANK GOODNESS FOR THIS SITE
