Who Has Custody of David Hasselhoff's Kids?

Yesterday TMZ reported that David Hasselfhoff had been given custody of his two daughters despite a leaked video tape showing a very drunk Hasselhoff eating a burger off the floor. The tape was reportedly recorded by one of Hasselhoff's teenage daughters.

Court ordered psychologist found that Pamela Bach, the children's mother, was extremely abusive to both girls-especially the youngest daughter. In addition to the charges of abuse the expert was concerned that Bach refused drug testing.

On Friday a publicist for Debra Opri, Bach's attorney, said the judge was set to look at Hasselhoff's fitness to visit the two girls, Bach's motion for increased spousal and child support along with with the possibility that Hasselhoff would be asked to enter alcohol rehabilitation.

Hassleholff agreed to alcohol testing. An admitted alcoholic Hasselhoff has said the leaked recording showed a slip and not a pattern of behavior.

"Despite that I have been going through a painful divorce and I have recently been separated from my children due to my work, I have been successfully dealing with my issue," he said.

"Unfortunately, one evening I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse."

TMZ had suggested that Hasselhoff had full temporary custody for two weeks. Access Hollywood contradicts those reports by saying the arrangement is in place for this week alone. Hasselhoff will have custody of the girls on Tuesday and Thursday while Bach will be have 16-year-old Hayley and 14-year-old Taylor on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The Hoff is required to take three blood tests and three breathalyzer tests this week. According to Access Hollywood if he passes the tests the custody arrangements will stay in place until the next court date.

"It went very well, the truth was told, and I can't say any more," Hasselhoff said after the hearing.

Neither Hasselhoff or Bach offered any official statement about what went on in court because of a court ordered gag order.

Debri Opri, Bach's attorney said, "we're very happy" but offered no further details.

The next hearing is set for June 1.

Hasselhoff's net worth is reported to be $100 million. At one point Baywatch was the most popular show in the world. He's also had an extremely popular music career in Europe.
