Who is the Inspiration for Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter?
Is Johnny Depp Copying the Look of Frodo or Madonna? You Decide
In the film "The Pirates of the Caribbean" Johnny Depp famously modeled his character Captain Jack Sparrow after Keith Richards of the band The Rolling Stones. An actor known for his quirky roles, Depp is once again teaming up with director Tim Burton in the new film adaptation of Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland." So who has he drawn upon for inspiration now? Depp is playing the role of the Mad Hatter and based just off of looks, he appears to be either channeling Frodo Baggins of "The Lord of the Rings" or Madonna.
