Who Invented the Bible?

Part 1 of a Series

Pamela Gardapee
As a society of believers in the Bible, does anyone really know where the Bible came from and who is to say what you read today is the truth. In the Bible, you read that God created the words of the Bible. However, the language was different from the languages today. How do you know that the Bible is word for word as it was written on stone? Who knew how to read the language and decipher it into the language it is written in today?

If you trust in what the Bible says, you believe that one person knew at least two languages. How did this person learn the different languages? There were no schools to teach other languages. There was no one to say what each word meant except a hand few of people if you are to believe what you read in the Bible.

One who lives their life as the Bible teaches, is living their life according to someone that they never have known. It's not God, it is the person that took the words from stone and put the words on paper. How can one believe that the words are those of God or the words of someone that wanted everyone to conform to his way of thinking?

That brings to light another part of the Bible. Way back when the words where changed to different languages, there must have been sin, because the Bible talks about not sinning. The Bible says, that homosexuality is a sin. That would mean that way back in the time, there must have been a homosexual. What happened to him or her? The Bible doesn't tell you that.

If you were to read the Bible, you would have to wonder what type of society was there back in time if someone had to write down the ten commandments pertaining to not sinning by doing this or doing that. The message the Bible sends if it is the true words is that society as we know it existed as far back as the Stone Age. Otherwise, why did it need to be written in word?

If you are to believe that the Bible existed and God rather than some random wrote the words, then was he a hateful person filled with rage or was he speculating as to how the world should be if it was perfect? Some verses in the Bible teach that you should not be a homosexual, which has been used to promote hate against the gay community. The Bible has been used to control how people are punished in other countries.

Is stoning a person to death because she committed adultery acceptable? It is if you live in countries that say that adultery is against the Bible and the person must die a horrible and pointless death by stoning. It is not humane, it is not acceptable and it is abuse. Does the Bible you read teach this punishment as acceptable? Yes, it does! That is the sad part.

Do you believe the Bible was written on paper as a translation of another language or was it the writing of someone that pretended to translate the word and wrote what he wanted the world to be like?
