In 1984 and 2004, Biden ran on the Democratic ticket for President of the U.S. He was again a Presidential Candidate in 2008, but dropped out in January after the Iowa caucuses. With crucial foreign policies changes needed, Biden's' experience could prove a powerful asset to the Democratic Party. The Senator severed as the Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in the 110th Congress. Biden is considered by many political analysts to be a powerful Democrat. Joe Biden believes in life at conception. He does not believe in public funding for abortions. Biden does support a partial-birth abortion ban, but does not support the reversal of Roe vs. Wade. Joe Biden voted no on maintaining bans on military base abortions. He voted no on defining the unborn child as eligible for SCHIP. Biden has voted against a ban on human cloning.

Biden voted for an educational savings account in 2000 and for the funding of student testing, instead of private tutors. He voted yes on spending $448 billion of the 2001 tax cuts on education.

Biden voted yes to expand the enrollment period for Medicare Part D in 2006. He voted yes on the increase of Medicaid rebates for producing generics. Biden also voted for negations on bulk Medicare pricing.
Joe Biden believes in the elimination of the tax cut, for those in the top 1%. In 2007, Biden supported taking back the $85 billion annual tax cuts for those who do not need them (the top 1% earners). Post a CommentI appreciate that he's for sex education in schools, especially considering I just did a radio interview last night talking about how so many parents keep their kids in the dark about sex only for them to end up having it too early, not know what the hell they're doing, and end up with STDs but are too embarrassed to seek help.
