Who Keeps Giving These Idiots Money?

The movie going public says that Uwe Boll should stop making movies. Maybe that is true. His movies are pretty terrible (so I hear, I've never actually seen one), he's an arrogant ass, and he exploited a loophole in German law in order to fund his films.

But, what if there were someone or a couple of people who deserved to make movies less than Uwe Boll?

Those people would be named Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg. Who are these men? These are the "professionals" who have given use "Epic Movie," "Meet The Spartans," "Date Movie," and their latest crap-fest, "Disaster Movie."

Sure, some people will say,"but but but they're making the new farces! Like Blazing Saddles and The Naked Gun!"

But, those people would be wrong. Blazing Saddles brought shined a light on racism in America, brought it to the mainstream and explained why racism is basically silly. The Naked Gun poked fun at celebrities and the police genre, and then stayed on it.

Now, would I be making this complaint if they had stopped at Epic Movie? Probably not. I would've just said "Epic Movie sucked." and moved on.

Right now, however, they're beating a dead horse. Each year a new crap-fest "Movie" comes out and "embarasses" the blockbusters of the summer. Right now, Seltzer and Friedberg have beaten one too many horses, and I hope the farmer comes after them with a shotgun.

Metaphorically speaking of course.
