What she does is use a system called Pythagoras Number system which is not anything new. In fact it dates back about 2500 years. Not a whole lot is known about this system but according to wikipedia it seems that Pythagoras and his students believed that everything was related to mathematics. They believed numbers were what was real and through numbers anything and everything could be predicted.
Ms. McCants does readings and has been on many shows including Entertainment Tonight, CBS News Tonight, Good Morning America, the Leeza show, and the Tony Danza Show. She has also been on many radio programs and in magazines. Glynis is the creator of The Numerology Kit, The Individual Reading Chart, and the Are We Soul-mates Program and wrote the bookGlynis Has Your Number.
People are amazed at how fast and accurate she is. She specialized in predicted whether a famous couple with go the long term or end up in divorce court. When she does live readings she is almost always if not always right on.
She was on The View back in October 2008. Now I don't know how spectacular a prediction this is but she did say that Obama and Biden would in the White House and leading our country.
Who are the Pythagoreans?
Pythagoras was born in Samos which is an island off of Asia Minor. He was well educated and didn't agree with the government. Because of this he set up his own little society (We may call it a cult today.) of people who followed him. They had no possessions and were vegetarians. This was around 500BC.
Religion was important to this group. . They swore their oaths by "1+2+3+4" (which equals 10). They also believed that the soul is immortal and goes through a cycle of rebirths until it can become pure. They believed that these souls were in both animal and plant life. (There are people today who believe this as well. I do not know if The Number Lady does. Perhaps she can answer this question.) Pythagorus said that he remember having lived four different lives. He also told of hearing the voice of a dead friend in the howl of a dog being beaten, and was then attacked by an angry mob. (wikipedia)
It is said that he was an influence for Plato and essentially worshipped numbers. . He is said to have been one of the greatest thinkers of his time.
