Who can read the Christian Holy Bible? The answer is anyone who can read. You don't even need a Christian to read it. It will help guide your life as a Christian, but sometimes even Atheist will read the Bible. Sometimes they use it to try to prove their point about something.
Sometimes people try to claim there are contradictions in the Bible. One person I use to know tried to claim the Bible was contradictory because that people written about in the Christian Bible who had different names were the same person. Well, that was easy to answer. I'm one person, but I have different names. My full name is Aulbert Ben West, Jr., my nickname is Butch. There are no contradictions because the same person has more than one name. But these people can and do read the Bible.
Some people change their minds about whether or not to believe the Bible by taking the time to read it.I use to go to a church with a fellow who was a former Atheist, he read the scriptures, started believing them and became a Christian, started a small Christian Bookstore which grew into the largest individually owned bookstore in the Austin area.
No one has to read the Christian Bible, but everyone is allowed to and should be encouraged to do so. The Bible has the story of salvation for man kind. It has the story of Daniel and his companions who went through the fiery furnace and the lion's den. It has the story of how the future King David escaped from the ravenous ways of King Saul.
The Bible has the story of how King David committed murder for the purpose of having an adulterous relationship with a married woman and was allowed to repent, though he suffered some consequences in that his child died.
The Bible tells us about the woman caught in adultery and Jesus told her accusers if they were without sin to cast the first stone, they all walked away, the woman was left and Jesus told her "Go and sin no more". (John 8:1-11)
The Christian Bible is indeed the Greatest Book on earth and whatever you think of it, read it, it could do some good.

You are so right Butch. When people tell me there are contradictions, I ask them to show them to me. That usually stops the conversation right then and there.
Another wonderful, truthful, and grace-filled article.
Nicely written - It remains one of the best-read books of all time. Cheers :)
I read the Word each day and it keeps me focused in my Christian walk as imperfect as that may be, but I strive for perfection in HIm~
So true Butch. It is the world's all time best seller and for obvious reasons; it is the greatest book ever written about the greatest story ever told.
