Who Replaces Larry King?

Ryan Seacrest, Joy Behar, Piers Morgan...Or Jill Zarin?

Since Larry King announced his surprise departure from his world record breaking talkshow, Larry King Live, the internet exploded with rumors of a replacement for the host.

The first rumor flew under the radar a bit, but a few dailies did pick up the buzz 3 weeks ago that Britain's and America's Got Talent host, Piers Morgan was being groomed to take over Larry's chair and even attempted to clear his Britain's Got Talent Schedule. Piers is well received in this country in everything that he does, including Talent and Celebrity Apprentice. Audiences seem to identify him as sort of a Simon Cowell-lite.

That buzz died down a bit, and after last night's announcement, names have been thrown out there like The View and her own show's host, Joy Behar. Behar is rumored because she's got a breakout hit on CNN's poor cousin with moldy shoes, HLN. Which, really, is it that hard to have the 50 year old ladies that watch lead-in Nancy Grace, stay up an extra hour and watch Joy?

The next name thrown out on the interwebs was Real Housewives of NYC star, Jill Zarin. The beast of the show's third season. This is obviously the brainchild of either Jill or some crazy bloggers that think this would be a good idea. That would be crazy.

Larry King supposedly wants Ryan Seacrest to wear those suspenders and assume the position. I mean replace him on the show, people! But doesn't Seacrest have enough jobs? Does he really need a 7th? And I don't find him all that compelling. He's like Billy Bush of Access Hollywood. Cute guy that asks cute questions.

My vote is Piers or Kathy Griffin. I think they step right in, bring all kinds of audiences together and are seasoned enough to not be reinventing the wheel.

Who would you like to see take Larry's place? Thoughts?
