Who is the Season 10 "American Idol?"

Cindy Wright
"American Idol" found their top 24. So just who is the season 10 "American Idol?" Viewers have a couple months ahead of them to decide just who that will be. There was a lot of great talent to go through this season to find the best of the best. There were many that the judges wanted to keep but there are just so many spots available, and some hopefuls that had amazing talent still did not make the cut and were sent home. Many were asked by the judges to please come back and try again next year. Judge Jennifer Lopez had a hard time sending some of her favorite's home.

Lopez wore her heart on her sleeve through the entire audition phase of the show. Shedding tears at times and at other times saying she hated this. Judge Steven Tyler also showed his emotions whether it was by his facial expressions or by letting a contestant know when he loved their performance. Veteran judge Randy Jackson was back in all his glory and the gentle side of Jackson was brought out at times also.

The top 24 consists of great musical talent and there are some standouts, such as 16 year old Lauren Alaina, and Scotty McCreery who at just 17 years of age has the deep country voice of someone much older. Brett Loewenstern surprised judges with his amazing voice. This big haired, red-headed, energetic kid walked on stage, and when he began to sing he surprised viewers and judges alike. Casey Abrams is another contestant that is filled with musical talent beyond what viewers thought when he first walked onstage.

So now let's see who made the top 24.
