Who Voted for Health Care Bill (HR 3590) Could Dictate Some Elections

The House of Representatives Had Their Health Care Vote on the Health Care Bill Sunday Night

Who voted for health care bill HR 3590 could change voter opinion. Who voted for health care bill HR 3590 could also alter which parties control certain seats in the House of Representatives during upcoming elections. The health care reform movement has received a lot of negative press, and some of that could end up swinging support of representatives who voted for health care bill HR 3590 to suddenly support candidates who claim they would have voted against it. Putting the health care reform into practice, and then proving that it is actually beneficial to all Americans is going to be the tough sell that many House representatives are faced with after Sunday's vote.

There are going to be many stories about who voted in support of the health care bill, and who decided to vote against the health care bill during Sunday's vote. The final tally of who voted for health care bill HR 3590 was 219 representatives, with another 212 representatives voting against it. The Republican voters held fast to their belief that the health care bill should not pass, with 178 Republicans voting against its passage. They were joined by another 34 Democrats who felt that this current version of health care reform just wasn't going to get the job done as advertised. The 219-212 vote was quite close, and has already led to some animosity from several Republican representatives as well as Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele who started a slogan to "fire Nancy Pelosi."

The measure will now hit the desk of President Obama, who can sign it into law, and put into practice many of the items that the health care bill is intended to cover. The total price tag for HR 3590 is $940 billion and is advertised as extending insurance coverage to roughly 32 additional Americans. It's a huge step towards universal health care in the United States, but has been an extremely tricky issue that both sides of the aisle have not found common ground to agree upon. Now the next few months could dictate it the representatives who voted for the health care bill keep their jobs, or if the next election season sees a new influx of surprise election results.

Pelosi state "If you want to know what is in the healthcare bill, you will have to vote for it". Does hse think Congress is a game show? Fact is, whether or not you are for healthcare reform, voting for a bill which you do not know the content of is STUPID.

Californians are also assured that community health centers will be on hand to provide critical health care regardless of their ability to pay, as health care reform will be able to invest in the federally-funded health centers in California.

Very disappointing on your decision to vote for a health care bill that will now cost me higher taxes and take away my freedom of health care. I hope you live with your horrible decision on abortion. Pretty sad you would put aside thousands of unborn children so you/YOURSELF can get your "perks". Disgusting.

I thank you for the nice list that was supplied. I wish everyone who voted for this could be on our end of this bill and see how they like it. I hope the states fight like hell to stop it. God Bless America.

I would love to have a list of names of people who voted for this crap as well. I see no point in voting for something like this. I am a doctor and I know that I will be quitting now because of this. As for some parts for example.... " Your health care is rationed".. umm..yeah.. and were suspose to be headed in a new direction..dont think so. "Page 59 line 21-24, Government will have direct access to your bank accounts" think its time to take your money out and hide it before you are forced to pay. The biggest reason this was passes is to give the lazy sorry good for nothing people who choose NOT to work to now get free health care that us hard working people must supply for them.. Completely unfair.
