Who Will Go Home First on 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 12?

Candice Cain
Season twelve of "Dancing With the Stars" features celebrities from a variety of walks of life, many of whom the "Dancing With the Stars" viewers haven't heard of or just don't recognize on appearance alone. Will this season turn into a popularity contest, like the ill-fated season eleven with Bristol Palin? Or will viewers vote on true talent? The first elimination round of season twelve will occur on Wednesday, March 29. Fortunately, the "celebrities" that viewers do not necessarily know appear to have the least amount of dancing abilities. Perhaps the popularity contest might actually parallel the voting "the way it should be" this season.

Mike Catherwood
"Who?" Exactly. Mike Catherwood, known as "Psycho Mike," is a radio DJ that has appeared as a guest host on "Live With Regis & Kelly" and "The Daily Ten." If you don't live in Los Angeles, where Mike is a DJ on KROQ's "Kevin & Bean Morning Show," you probably don't know who Mike is. If you don't listen to "Loveline," of which Mike is co-host with Dr. Drew Pinsky, you probably don't know who Mike is. Yet, here Mike is, "Dancing With the Stars." While Mike is certainly very attractive, he just can't dance. He didn't take his first dance seriously, and his attempt at the jive (his second dance) was too little too late. Mike will most likely be the first to go, because he just doesn't have the support of the viewers. (Note to "Dancing With the Stars" producers: If you are looking for a popular wedding planner who has been in several films and television shows, has a reality show in production, and has been published, I am totally available for season 13.)

Wendy Williams
Wendy Williams also started out as a radio personality. In 2009, she made the change to daytime television with her gossip-infused talk show, "The Wendy Williams Show." Known for her large "chesticles" (as Len Goodman calls them) and big personality, Wendy just doesn't shine on the dance floor. Her attempts may be valiant, but they just aren't good enough. Furthermore, Wendy has rubbed many people the wrong way outside of "Dancing With the Stars," which may cause viewers not to vote for her. Unfortunately, many people that look at her think that she is either a transvestite or a transsexual, which may cause conservative people not to vote for her. This is not true! While she does stand six feet tall,Wendy Williams was born a woman, is married to a man and has a son. If Mike isn't the first to go, Wendy certainly will be. If she doesn't get her act together next week, she will be the second celebrity out the door.

Petra Nemcova
If history truly does repeat itself, then Petra Nemcova will not last very long on "Dancing With the Stars." Paulina Porizkova and Josie Maran both finished last during the seasons in which they appeared. While Petra has a terrific back story (surviving the 2004 tsunami and having to learn to walk again), not much has really been said about it-- which is surprising with the tsunami that just hit Japan. She is paired up with the gorgeous Dmitry, and they make an incredibly attractive couple. But, how far will their beauty carry them? If Petra wants to avoid the bottom three, she will have to learn to connect with the audience and be a bit more "electric" on the dance floor.
