Who Will Be Returning on "Survivor: Pacific Islands"?

Two Will Return from Seasons Past, Who Will it Be?

Olin Froid
What two returning Survivor players will be returning to the next season? That is the question that will mostly be asked in the return this fall of 2011 of Survivor, titled Survivor: South Pacific. I would like to share with you who I think it should/could be, and give you some of the picks that make sense, make great television or just make me smile at the potential!

Rupert/Jonny Fairplay: These two, in their initial season provided a great back and forth. I would love to see how Fairplay does with his attitude/playing style already known, and if Rupert could convince a group to work with him.

Coach/Phillip: There is no rivalry here, but these two are by the far the nuttiest players I have ever seen on Survivor. The way they played, I would love to see their interactions and just how crazy the conversations would go!

Stephenie/Danni: The winner of Guatemala, Danni would be a formidable opponent to Stephenie LaGrossa, one of the fan favorites of Guatemala and Heroes/Villains. I have always enjoyed seeing Stephenie play, and would love to see her with a chance to try her luck at Redemption Island.

Tyson/Fabio: Tyson made one of the "dumbest" moves in all of Survivor, basically voting himself out of Heroes/Villains, and Fabio-although a winner, is the quintessential "dumb blonde" of Survivor. Would be interesting to see how they play it up together, and if Fabio could get away with playing the dumb part again.

Elisabeth/Colleen: 2 early season ladies, both moved on to have careers in TV or movies, and I personally would love to see Elisabeth on the island get her friend/family visit from Whoopi and Joy -- in bikini?? Not so much!

Mike/Matt: Mike from Australia had a difficult exit, burned by the fire in the Outback. But he played well, played amazing and didn't get the chance that he deserved to play it out. Matt, given the chance will have someone on his side this time around, and although they don't match up as rivals, they match up as good stories.

Rob Cesterino/David Murphy: Rob Cesterino, as Probst once put it was the best player to lose Survivor. I would love to see if he could figure out the game the same way Boston Rob did as an outsider. David, on any other team, would have been an amazing player, but stuck on the smaller tribe he had little chance to make strong plays. This is my personal hope, choice-wise-I would love to see Rob get another shot at it.

Well, these are my choices, and they are random but fun and I personally cannot wait to see who makes it!
