Zoi Antonitsas and Jennifer Biesty have been dating each other for years. This can be seen as an advantage or a disadvantage in competing on the show. Both ladies are very proficiently solid in Mediterranean cuisine. Their odds to win the show are both 7 to 1.
New Zealander Mark Simmons has his own unique culinary style based on his experiences growing up in New Zealand. Early on in the show Mark used techniques that were truly unique to past seasons. If he continues to use his unique culinary stylings he may make it far or he might be eliminated quickly. Mark's odds to win the show are 6 to 1.
Evangelos "Spike" Mendelsohn is a talented chef specializing in Vietnamese and French cuisine. Spike is one of the true wild cards of the show as his passion for food is clearly evident. If Spike can maintain is passion while showing off innovative cuisine he can be a dark horse to win it all. Spike's odds to win the show are 4 to 1.
Lifelong chef Ryan Scott has been literally raised in the kitchen. His Mediterranean and French inspired cuisine could take him a long way in the show but currently he is in the middle of the pack. Ryan's odds to win the show are 10 to 1.
New Yorker Nikki Cascone is known primarily on the show for her Italian inspired creations. Nikki has so far been featured making various pastas. This lack of diversity might hurt Nikki in the long run. Nikki's odds to win the show are 11 to 1.
Stephanie Izard is known for being a very balanced chef. She is able to balance her creativity with simplistic dishes. This shows that Stephanie knows how to balance risk and reward. Stephanie's odds to win Top Chef are 5 to 1.
Antonia Lofaso known for Italian inspired cuisine is also a dark horse to take the title of Top Chef. On the first few episodes she has been mainly in the background but when the time is right she will make her mark. Antonia's odds to win the show are 6 to 1.
Lisa Fernandes mixes Asian and Latin flavors into a harmonious experience. Lisa has also been one of the competitors in the background yet she definitely has tricks up her sleeve. Lisa's odds to win the show are 6 to 1.
One of the most diverse chefs on the show is Andrew D'Ambrosi. He has studied almost every aspect of food and uses diverse combinations to make his point. His playful attitude might not be best served in the serious world of Top Chef yet he has a chance to go far. Andrew's odds to win it all are 4 to1.
Clearly Nimma Osman, Valerie Bolon, Erik Hopfinger and Manuel Trevino have no shot of winning the competition as they have already been eliminated.
After the first four episodes it is clear that this is one of the most talented seasons of Top Chef and there are numerous contenders to become the next Top Chef.
