In fact, here are my predictions for who will likely take home a Bafta on February 13. I will give my Bafta predictions in ten categories.
1. Best Film
Black Swan
Inception
*The King's Speech
The Social Network

Black Swan
Inception
*The King's Speech
The Social Network
The King's Speech will reign again in this category. This is because winner of best director and film go together like tea and scones.

*The King's Speech
The King's Speech light up the screen. Therefore, it will win a Bafta for original screenplay. It is a well researched film. It has good scenes and good dialog.
5. Adapted Screenplay
127 Hours
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
*The Social Network
Toy Story 3
True Grit
The Social Network will walk away with the Bafta in this category. This is because it is based on a nonfiction book called The Accidental Billionaires. It is a good book. in addition, the movie and the book are similar. The movie is surprising good.
6. Leading Actor
Javier Bardem
Jeff Bridges
Jesse Eisenberg
*Colin Firth
James Franco
Jesse Eisenberg gives a breakthrough performance in The Social Network. However, Colin Firth will take the Bafta in this category. He gives a royal performance as King George VI. Colin Firth also has a regal way about him.
7. Leading Actress
Annette Bening
Julianne Moore
*Natalie Portman
Noomi Rapace
Hailee Steinfeld
Natalie Portman will win in the category. This is because she shows a range of emotions in The Black Swan. She plays a demented ballerina to a tee. In addition, all the ballet training paid off. She could get a job with a dance company.
8. Original Music
127 Hours
*Alice In Wonderland
How To Train Your Dragon
Inception
*The King's Speech
The music for both films is excellent. The score for Alice in Wonderland has a good magical, whimsical, and dark fantasy feel to it. In addition, the score for the King's Speech has a English and royal feel to it. In both cases the scores for these films transport listeners to England and Wonderland. That is why the Bafta will go to one of those two films.
9. Costume Design
*Alice in Wonderland
Black Swan
The King's Speech
Made In Dagenham
True Grit
I love the whimsical costumes in Alice in Wonderland. The Mad Hatter costume is extraordinary. In addition, both costumes for The Red Queen and The White Queen stand out in the film.
10. Orange Rising Star
*Emma Stone
Andrew Garfield
Tom Hardy
Gemma Arterton
Aaron Johnson
Emma Stone will get the Bafta in this category. This is because she is a actress with much acting talent. She stole the show in Easy A. I can't wait to see what is does next.
Award season is in full swing. The Oscars will be here soon. In addition, the British version of the Oscars is coming soon too. The Baftas celebrate the best in British and international film. The King's Speech will take its rightful place on the throne of movie royalty.
