Who Will Win Tonight Adam or Kris?

Adam Lambert or Kris Allen - not much of a choice. There is little diversity this year at all. It's going to be a guy, young or younger flamboyant or boring.

Kris appeals to me about as much as Hannah Montana. He is very young, dull as dishwater and he sings okay. There is nothing wrong with the way he sings. He's on key. His guitar playing is pretty bad, but his voice is fine. He's just too bubblegum rock for my tastes. If Kris doesn't win I think he will hard pressed to have a platinum record kind of career. Adam will succeed either way.

Adam is much more talented. He can really, really sing. His desire to be weird gets in the way, but he is so good I can over look it. He will be a huge success whether he wins or not and can pretty much choose whatever he wants to do. It will probably be something bizarre that I won't like, he could do anything he wants to. Does anyone else see the physical resemblance between Adam and Elvis Presley?

I truly wish Danny Gokey was still in the running. He is as talented as Adam, less strange and is very appealing - even to people over the age of 18. Danny was my choice and I'm very sorry he got knocked off. He also seemed to be of good character and a nice young man. I know, I sound like a grandma but I don't approve of anyone being an American Idol with a bunch of children out of wedlock, a drug history or any other stupid indiscretion.

There was no love lost on Allison. She seems like a nice girl, but can't sing in any way other than that horse husky screaming voice. If that was just one of her sounds, she probably would have had a chance. She's not bad, but she's just not that good.

To be fair all the contestants this year in the top 20 or so were really very good. In the early years, people who were terrible went a lot further. Somehow, Idol has learned to do a much better job of weeding out the mediocre people and making it a pretty good competition.

I will vote for Adam unless he goes absolutely crazy and does something over the top. If he does I just won't vote. Kris is just too bland.
