First the Whole Berry Blast Probar is one of the bars that you should not eat if you are not highly active. It has 370 calories in one single bar. I almost fell out of my chair when I read that. If you are not active it probably should only be used as a meal replacement supplement. I can't say I always keep to that guideline though, but the idea sounds good.
Despite the enormous calories it is a wonderful bar when it comes to taste and ingredients. It has a huge list of ingredients but it is a great list. It is not the normal list that you shy away from looking at on most products filled with unknown ingredients. Every single ingredient in the Whole Berry Blast Probar is a real ingredient you will understand, seeds, nuts and fruits. All ingredients are vegan.
The second thing to knock me out of my chair was the sugar content. Whole Berry Blast Probar has 39g in one bar. Again, though, the sugar comes from real ingredients and some brown rice syrup. Knowing that kept me eating it. The bar is quite big and filling. If you have will power you can eat half andstill be satisfied.
The Whole Berry flavor is fruity and sweet. It is chewy, with a great consistency. There is even chocolate and carob chips throughout the bar that nicely compliment the fruity and nutty taste. And, the nuts are just the perfect size to get the crunch and flavor you crave.
The Whole Berry Blast Probar is a really good, flavorful bar. It is more of a meal replacement than other bars but it has a great variety of ingredient to replace a meal. I occasionally keep a couple in my office desk and always get one for anytime I take long hikes.
