On the label it reads, "We use only the highest quality, organically grown dry roasted peanuts, a touch of organic palm oil, and sea salt in our 365 organic everyday value unsweetened creamy peanut butter to bring you the best-tasting peanut butter we've ever tried."
I would agree with that statement, because this is the best peanut butter I have ever tried as well. I don't usually eat too much peanut butter. Usually, I will buy the cheapest brand that you don't even need to refrigerate and it will sit on my shelf for an extended period of time. The Whole Foods peanut butter is different in that it doesn't have all the additives. Because it is a natural product, it will need to be refrigerated. One thing I really liked about this peanut butter is that the oil doesn't separate. It will not get rock hard in the refrigerator like other brands will, and no stirring is required. Because it is labeled organic, it has higher manufacturing standards.
Regarding manufacturing of this product, "Whole Foods Market private label products are formulated to avoid genetically engineered ingredients. U.S. law does not allow the use of genetically engineered ingredients or seed in products labeled as organic."
This is one good reason to buy food labeled as organic. I simply don't trust genetically engineered ingredients, so that is an additional benefit of this particular peanut butter.
This peanut butter has 200 calories in each 2 tbsp serving size. Each serving has 17g of total fat, 3g of saturated fat, 6g of total carbs, 105 mg of sodium, 3g of fiber, 1g of sugar and 7g of protein. This product has no trans fat.
On a scale of 1-10 I think this peanut butter deserves a 10. It is the best tasting peanut butter I have ever tried. It is organic with simple natural ingredients. Price is excellent for it's quality. I even like how it is packaged in a plastic re-usable jar. I would definitely buy this product on a regular basis. Usually, it takes me a long time to consume an entire jar of peanut butter. This brand was so good that I made peanut butter sandwiches every day and finished off the jar within a week. I would highly recommend trying it.
