Wholesale Carpet Jobbers

Purchasing Carpet in Madison County, Illinois

My husband and I continue on our quest to spruce up (to put it mildly) our first home. Phase one of our fix-up involved the main level of living space. Basically including the master bedroom, (the only) bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and family room. We've completed most of the renovations necessary, leaving aside minor trim and detail aspects.

So now we've moved our focus upstairs. We have 2 bedrooms, a hall, and a cedar closet. Our plan is to renovate the cedar closet into a bathroom. We plumbed it for a sink, toilet, and an eventual stand up shower. The entire upstairs has hardwood floors and plaster walls. After painting it came time to address the floors. On the main level, we spent weeks working on the hardwood. However, considering that the usage for the upstairs would be for an eventual nursery and office, we decided we wanted something more comforting.

Carpet shopping was foreign to my husband and me. My search commenced with a generic Google search to locate the various regional carpet vendors. As usual, my husband and I were looking for a product and vendor that would compliment our teensy budget. We wanted Berber carpet, something neutral and light.

I placed a call to Wholesale Carpet Jobbers (silly name, but hey, it's easy to remember!) and was impressed with their friendly attitude and desire to help. They were happy to give me a rough estimate over the phone based on my husband's estimate of square footage to be carpeted. I work until 5:30, sometimes later, about 40 miles away and they were happy to accommodate me despite walking into the store near closing time.

While shopping on a budget, often salespeople will treat you differently upon hearing the word "bargain" or "sale" when they ask a customer what they are looking for. The lady led me directly to what I asked for and I was impressed with the prices. We purchased a very nice quality Berber for $12 per square yard. She was patient with me and helpful as I looked through their selection. When we went to make the purchase final, she informed me that they could have it measured and installed in 3 business days.

Wholesale Carpet Jobbers has a wide selection of plush, Berber, and shag carpets. If you're looking to do a small area they have fantastic deals on remnants of high quality flooring. I also noticed tile and laminate flooring as well. After all was said and done, we finished the floors upstairs for under $800, which included carpet, pad, and installation, and a job well done. I highly recommend Wholesale Carpet Jobbers product and service to anyone looking for flooring in Madison County.
