Whose Going Home Next on American Idol

Another night down and seven contestants performed. Did any contestant wow you with their performance? It is getting down to the most talented performers of this American Idol season and that means they should be bringing their A game. The question is who did and who did not. If you look at their performances as a whole, there have been clear leaders since day one, but based on tonight's performance who would you say really hit home run?

CRYSTAL BOWERSOX! Without a question, bar none Crystal moved the house with her performance. Her talent is by far the best on American Idol season 9. The emotion came through in her song long before she actually broke; this girl could go all the way and should make the top 3 with ease.

Lee Dewyze pulled up a close second tonight. Of course, this admittedly comes from a biased source, since the first time he performed this reviewer has though he was amazing! If there is any doubt, about whether Lee should be around to the top 5 of American Idol or beyond go back to his performance of "Treat Her Like a Lady!"

Big Mike, who doesn't love Big Mike? A brand new baby in his life and a heart that he pours into every performance. The only problem is, if we are being honest, he is just not blowing it out of the park. Great vocals and technically correct in every aspect but still not really wowing. It is a hard pill to swallow, but it is the truth.

Casey James is eye candy without a doubt, and he has great hair! His performance of "Jealous Guy" from Beatles week on American Idol was without a doubt his best so far. While performing as one of the top 7 however there simply was not any wow factor. It was great, but you didn't truly feel anything while he performed.

Siobhan Magnus, Aaron Kelley and Tim Urban all gave it a good try but if you compare their performances with the ones above it is clear who should be on the chopping block tomorrow night. There was nothing horrible of note in their performances, but nothing great either. It is possible that once he matures a bit Aaron Kelley will go on to bigger and better things, perhaps a career in country music?

So did you feel the inspiration on American Idol tonight? Did Goosebumps and chills flow during the performances? Well maybe one or two, especially with Crystal however, we will just have to see how America voted tomorrow night on Idol Gives Back! One more contestant will be going home; does anyone care to make a prediction? If I were a betting person it would probably be Aaron going home tomorrow night, but we will just have to wait and see!
