Whto Write in a Mother's Day Card

There are a lot of things that can be written in a Mother's Day card. Just a few things to take into consideration: Who's this card for? Many people give cards to not only their moms and stepmothers, but to their grandmothers, aunts, sister who have kids, friends who have kids, and anyone else who's a mom. The message is going to vary, depending on the role that the receiver of the card plays in your life. Next, how sentimental do you want it to be? Most of us could write something heartfelt enough to bring tears to a mom's eyes - especially our own! - but if she's opening this card at a party, maybe that's not what you want to do, maybe you want to make her laugh. Another thing you can do is to display your natural talents! If you write nice poems, write one. If you're an artist, maybe sketch something in the card. If you're a musician, get a card that you can record music into! If you know a poem that's perfect, copy it into the card as a quote, and think about getting a 'collected works' with the poem in it as a gift, perhaps.

Mostly, just write from the heart. If that's just a simple "good job," then just write that and give the lady a hug! If it's your own mom, one of the best things you can possibly say is "thank you." It's something that moms never hear enough of. Don't just say thanks, either, tell her what you're thanking her for. Even if you don't get along all the time, I'm sure you can find something that she's done for you in your life that made things better. If you want to make her smile, think back to a funny story from when you were a kid, and relate it in the card. If there's a corresponding picture, find it and put it in the card, as well. If you don't remember the story, make one up and then have your mom tell you the real one.

The key to Mother's Day is to let the moms in your life know that they're appreciated, since they have one of the hardest nonpaying jobs in the world!
