Why???

All nature worships God above
And Jesus, Heaven's King.
The baby deer praise Christ,
And in their tiny hearts, they sing!

The stars reflect the radiance
Of Heaven's throne above,
And the King Who reigns
With awesome power, light, and love!

So why don't people praise him, too,
For all of his great deeds?
They make excuses, claiming
That they have more pressing needs.

"No time for church!"
Outdoorsmen say.
"The fish are biting!
Let's go play!"

The women can be just as bad,
With time to watch TV,
But no time left to praise the Lamb
Who died on Calvary.
"I have a baby.
I'm not free."
(Most churches have a nursery.)

People are so lazy
That it makes my spirit cry.
They run TOWARD the flames of Hell.
It makes me wonder...
WHY???
