A Poem to an Unrequited Love
You always seem to know just what to say
To make my heart flutter
To make me want you
To make me remember what it was like to be near you
How is it that a few simple words from your lips
Send me back to the day we first met?
When I couldn't take my eyes off you
When I fell instantly in love
Why do you always do that to me?
Do you even know what you're doing?
Or is it unintentional?
I wish that I could have the same effect on you
I wish I could make you want me
The way that I still want you!
