My husband got a Hot Fudge Sundae and I got a Chicken Wrap. First of all, the sundae was just plain soft served ice cream with some fudge on top, no whipped cream, cherry or nuts on it, so my husband, disappointed to see his unappetizing dessert asked about some nuts and they told him he had to pay extra for them. He decided to do it in an effort to save the night and he got some whole peanuts in a plastic lid. If that was not enough my Crispy Chicken Wrap was completely soggy. They threw ranch on it and I don't know if the just microwaved a frozen wrap but the whole thing was hot and the lettuce was not fresh but dark and nuked from the heat.
Maybe this wont happen in all franchises but it happened in the one located in Canyon Road in Provo, UT.
I feel like they think that costumers are expecting to get crap since they are buying fast food instead of going to a restaurant. I am angry because I didn't go to beg for food but I actually pay money for it. The least they can do is give me the product that they say they are selling. I see the commercial and it is all fake. Imagine how bad my food was that I actually wished I had gone to McDonald's instead. At least they make an effort in their wraps and the peanuts are chopped and free when I buy a sundae.
How come fast food joints like Dairy Queen get away with bad customer service? Is it because people are just use to the low standards? I know they are franchise and the quality of food or attention depends on the owner, but it shouldn't be a gamble whether we get lucky and find a good franchise or not. If they are taking the name of a company they should make sure the quality is the same everywhere.
