I am sad because my paternal grandmother passed away on April 6th.
I am sad because my maternal grandmother fell and broke her hip that same day.
I am sad because my maternal grandmother passed away one week later on April 13th.
I am sad because an elderly family friend passed away on April 15th.
I am sad because attending three funerals so close together emotionally drains a person.
I am sad because I thought spring had arrived, but today it is snowing.
