Why Should an American Student Have to Remove an American Flag Because it Offends Latino Students in AMERICA?

As many people who have read my writings know I am a firm believer in this great nation that we live in. I greatly dislike those that seek to destroy it. The sad thing is that many people do not realize they are assisting in destroying the nation. I believe people in general and white people especially that voted for people like Barack Hussein Obama is a prime example of this. This story that I will be discussing in only possible because of political correctness and political correctness occurs because of people like Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.

A 13 year old student from Denair, California named Cody Alecia had an American flag on his bicycle that he rode to school every day. An administration official at the Denair Middle School informed him that some students had complained about the American flag and it was not allowed to be on his bike anymore while parked at the school. According to fox news (see end notes) there were some Latino students that were offended by the American flag and made an issue of it. There was a fear that there could have been racial tensions. The school claimed to be concerned for Cody's safety. The school, like quite a bit of California has a large Latino population. Denair Middle school is roughly 60% white and 38% Latino while the town is 78% white and 28% Latino. (Endnote 1).

Many patriotic Americans were very upset by this and contacted the school about this prompting the school superintendent Edward Parraz to issue a statement. He had mentioned that students had gotten hostile around the Cinco De Mayo celebrations and was concerned about further racial tensions. Parraz stated "Our Hispanic, you know, kids will, you know, bring their Mexican flags and they'll display it, and then of course the kids would do the American flag situation, and it does cause kind of a racial tension which we don't really want," Parraz said. "We want them to appreciate the cultures." (End 2). Cody's stepfather did not believe he should have had to remove the flag. "He's got that flag on his bike because he's proud of where he comes from," Kisner stated. (End 3). The school did reverse course and now Cody is allowed to proudly display his flag in our country.

When I first heard about this I thought about how political correctness is destroying this country. I realize that many consider multiculturalism to be important. I agree that it is, but not at the expense of our country's roots and traditions. If students of Mexican decent want to display Mexican flags that is their right. My question would be if they love Mexico so much why live in the United States and why are so many people from Mexico invading our country illegally. This is the kind of reason why America is getting tired of illegal immigrants. It is bad enough they come here and dilute our culture, drive wages down, and sponge off of our social programs like WIC, food stamps, welfare and public housing or anything else they can get, but they won't even attempt to assimilate in many cases. Our country is for everyone, from every country and every race and religion. President Teddy Roosevelt said it best "we have but one flag and that is the American flag. We have but one language and that is the English language". Maybe if a majority of Latinos pay attention to that advice and attempt to assimilate they would be more welcomed in the country. We must secure our borders, end birthright citizenship and deport every illegal invader to this country. We might be able to move forward. Sadly most liberals pander to the Latino vote over amnesty to win votes. Our country could be doomed over this issue from enemies that are found within because much of this power comes from liberal white people who don't have to live in places like Los Angeles and see how illegal invaders and their anchor babies have taken over. I do want to say there are many Americans who love this country that come from Latin American countries and Mexico, and they are just as American as everyone else. The problem is that it seems a larger amount situations like these involve Latinos. Many of the costs associated with English as a second language are because of illegal immigration and anchor babies ( also because of illegal immigration). It is not like we every other automated system in the USA say "press 2 for Chinese". It is always Spanish as a choice. Illegal immigration is the reason for this.
