Why Are Angels so Mysterious?

You may have noticed that angels like to keep themselves hidden and only seem to appear when something is going wrong or right in our life. Many people have seen angels in today's society and in the past. Great men and women of our time claim that psychics are appearing everywhere. Psychics such as: Sylvia Browne, John Edward, Char, Stephen Piperno and James Van Praagh all attest to the fact that angels are real and are amongst us. How do we know this is true?

We can first start out by saying that generations ago, people used to talk about winged creatures that would appear to them. Sometimes these winged tipped creatures would appear in a mysterious form or in the form of another creature. Biblical characters of both the Old and New Testament describe these beings as "angels of light" or those that are here to warn or to help humanity in some type of way. Great prophets from the ancient world have seen angels. Many founding fathers of the greatest faiths have seen them. Joseph smith who was the founder of the Mormon religion claimed that he saw an angel and was given messages from them. The apostles of Jesus Christ of Nazareth claimed that they had encountered angels when they were put into jail and were let go to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Michael the archangel is said to be God's highest angel and protector of God's kingdom. There are literally billions of angels around us. Jesus Christ himself stated that he could call down a legion of angels to help him if he needed to. The greatest men and women of our time have believed in angels to include: Mother Theresa, Pope John Paul II, President Ronald Reagan, Billy Graham and many other leaders from all walks of life.

It is clear that many people have witnessed an angelic encounter in one way or another. These winged tipped creatures are said to protect children and God's word. They are spoken of in the New Testament and in the book of revelation. They are said to also bring plagues upon the earth and great disaster. They also appear to reveal themselves to different people at all different times in history.

Angels are mysterious because somehow they are not supposed to be looked upon as God. Every time that someone encounters an angel, they tend to bow or make some sort of gesture representing a higher power. Angels are actually less than mankind according to the Holy Bible. Human Beings are said to be the highest form of creation by God. The angels that surround us must remain hidden because if they are exposed to too many people, then many people on the earth would bow and give them praise because of their beauty and size. A true angel represents God and his power. God is the center or the leader of all things and angels like to make it known that they have no great power over mankind. We are simply a creation of God's will.

If you want to encounter an angelic presence in your life, then I suggest that you ask God to bring one to you. God is said to answer all prayer and he can even bring the impossible to you. You may be surprised to find out that you will run from an angel. Having an encounter with the other side is not easy and most people will chicken out from actually seeing one. It can be a scary example of what God is trying to show you. Angels are all around us and I am sure that you have one speaking to you right now.
