Why do I ask for longevity?
So I could lengthen my stay...
To enjoy the earth's beauty...
Which God made for you and me.

Why do I ask to be healthy?
So I could move freely...
To enjoy loved ones' company...
Which is what God intends to be.

Why do I ask to be happy?
So I could still praise God in adversity...
To not lose my faith, you see...
Which will please God Almighty.

Why do I ask for prosperity?
So I could practice charity...
To let other people see...
How my God provides for me.
