Why You Should Have Your Bachelor or Bachelorette Party at Mardi Gras

Celebrate All the Way Up to Fat Tuesday, March 8th

LIVIN
Mardi Gras has a reputation as the craziest holiday. It is celebrated in New Orleans for longer than any party should last. But, last it does. It even improves. Since Mardi Gras has a set ending date, known as Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras climaxes. This year, Mardi Gras celebrations (including floats) begin February 25th in New Orleans, Louisiana. The bead-filled festivities continue until Fat Tuesday on March 8th. That's two weeks of debauchery. Perfect for a bachelor or bachelorette party. The best part is participants can show up any time before Fat Tuesday. Want to spend one week? Done. Want to cram all your partying into a long weekend? That's cool too. Just beware that Fat Tuesday is the last day of partying.

Even though these parties are supposed to be the last night of fun for grooms and brides-to-be, if they have a lot of friends getting married, they could be participants in many nights like this even after they are married. The parties never end!
