Why Are Birds Falling Out of the Sky and Dying - Dead Birds in Sweden

Flock of birds get caught up in bad weather, fly into an airplane's engine, die from a lack of food or disease, but the recent reports of birds falling from the sky and dying is odd. Why? For decades we've celebrated and welcomed a New Year with fireworks, and this year it's causing stress and killing birds.

On New Year's eve, nearly 5,000 birds fell to their death in Beebe, Arkansas and what was reported as a possible reason - stress from fireworks. And here we are days later, hearing of more birds falling from the sky in Sweden, which wouldn't be unusual if we were not told once again that the cause may be as simple as stress from fireworks. Yes, that is what a Vet stated, "Veterinarian Robert ter Horst believes that the birds may have been literally scared to death by fireworks set off on Tuesday night." ⁽¹⁾

Okay, what caused approximately 500 birds to fall from the sky days later, 300 miles south of Beebe, Arkansas in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana? Biologist, after initial tests say that the birds suffered internal injuries which resulted in blood clots. ⁽²⁾ Well, they did fall from the sky and come crashing down to the earth; what living creature wouldn't have injuries after such a fall. The question, that seems to be getting no real answers, is what made the birds fall out of the sky in the first place.

Yet, another reference to dead birds and fireworks being the cause, "The birds in Kentucky may have died as a result of fireworks in the area, officials told the AP," ⁽³⁾ to add insult to injury. It is getting very annoying hearing about firecrackers causing birds to fall from the sky and die. What is going on, why are dead birds falling from the sky, dead fish and crabs washing up on shores, how about some honest and sensible answers.

Interestingly, there are reports that bumblebees are dying, reason unknown. "Whatever is going on, this could affect our crops very soon, as lead researcher Sydney Cameron explains: "That certainly could impact the efficiency of our food production for many crops, such as cranberries, blueberries, tomatoes. Bumble bees are especially good pollinators of these types of crops." ⁽⁴⁾ This raises questions about Genetically Modified Food, but that is another can of worms. At least no one is suggesting or blaming firecrackers for the bumblebees.

So, is it all just a coincidence? Nature? Beginning of the end times? Pesticides? Diseases? One can only imagine and speculate, so we wait to hear what the media reports about test results.
