Why Bobby Knight Equals the End of America

Sports are more important to America's future than ever before.

Without sports we are lost and have no idea of what the true pulse of the nation is.

Why? Because for most of you out there, it is an unrealized fact that sports tend to show the pulse of a nation now more than an educational system.

Sports are games....games are supposed to be fun. It's how Americans handle "fun" that should scare us all to death.

Recently, Bobby Knight, current coach of Texas Tech University's men's basketball team (and former 3-time national championship coach at Indiana University, and before that West Point) recently broke the all-time record for coaching wins (880) at the highest level of collegiate hoops.

Knight is without question a talented coach and arguably one of the best, if not, "the" best of all time.
Still, the man is not without his horde of detractors, who constantly look for excuses to fire him.
Why?

1. He's a bully

2. He's not congenial

3. He's a bully

4. He's not an ass kisser

5. He's a bully.

Funny thing about Numbers 1,3,5, regards the simple truth of how supposed beings called "men" cower at being "bullied." They don't like Knight, telling them to basically "go to heck" and "get out of his face" because he doesn't see the need to placate a bunch of mentally-slow sports media types and over zealous fans.
So what? He's paid to COACH not NETWORK.

See Bobby Knight also is guilty of:

1. Turning boys into men

2. Raising money for many of his institution's facilities and educational neccessities

3. Being a loyal friend

4. Being private and a non self-promoter.

5. Someone who never cheated.

But today those issues don't come to the forefront.

No. In an era where "men" now hit on a woman who is 10-inches shorter and 100 pounds lighter and happens to be with another man. This is the era where these same "men" grope the woman, and her spouse beats the crap out of him to defend her. This is the era where the supposed "man" after getting beat decides to call 911 instead of taking it like a real man.

Bobby Knight is the same as the deserving fist, except his fingers coil into the visage of a curled verbal barrage of "tough crap if you don't like what you hear" verbage.

And what do "men" do? They cower and cry and run for reasons to fire him.

What do whiny parents do if he taps a player's chin roughly? Call for his termination. Funny, it's not the kid's parents.
Bobby Knight's existence has also shown this country's willingness to raise everybody else's kid but their own.
So while all of you big, know it all parents out there continue to defend your virtuous ways of raising your kids via trying to have every other parent arrested, remember this. Are kids today are now....

1. more violent

2. more illiterate

3. more uneducated

4. more STD riddled

5. and more pregnant despite the school's teaching sex education.

Bobby Knight taps a 20-year-old-kid (that retarded comment is for another blog) on the face non-violently and the CPS is drooling to make the player a minor at near-drinking age.

Bobby Knight is about being a man, like him or not. So what if he's anti social and want to avoid being liked.
The fact is he is accountable and a non-politician who only does the right thing in the face of sure criticism.
Maybe our supposed leaders in Washington should be advised to do the same?

Of course then we would be the biggest winners in the world....which today we are surely not.
