Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories also came out on in 2006. Like the first game, the sequel will also be ported over to the PSP. Here are a few reasons why you should buy Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days on the PSP when it comes out in early September.
Wacky Storyline
The Disgaea series is known for their over-the-top stories and Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days is no different. Adell is the last remaining human in the world after Overlord Zenon cursed the rest of the species and turned them into monsters. In his effort to defeat Overlord Zenon, you will run into many wacky characters and humorous moments. For the PSP port, developer Nippon Ichi Software will be including four extra story chapters.
Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories' Impressive Quality
Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days is the PSP port to the Playstation 2 hit, Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days. The sequel plays like your typical turn-based strategy game. However it does feature several unique elements compared to Disgaea: Hour of Darkness like the court system, stack attacks, throw & catch ability and much more. These added features made Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories into a unique title compared to other games in the genre.
New Enhancements
Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days also has several gameplay enhancements. In fact, the PSP port also takes some features from Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice on the Playstation 3. This includes Magichange, which allows you to fuse a human and monster together to give a new weapon to the human. Another new feature from Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice is the ability to throw your own units to damage the enemy. In many ways, Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days feels like Disgaea 2.5.
Incredible Value
You don't have to worry about the length of Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories. The PSP game can easily last you over a hundred hours with plenty of optional quests to partake in aside from the main storyline. New to Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days are a brand new fighter in addition to over 50 new stages.
Needless to say, Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days is the definitive version of Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories. Don't miss out on this great game when it comes out in September exclusively for the PSP.
