Comcast Digital Cable as Your Provider
With the February 2009 DTV transition digital equipment will become that much more important to Americans. But there are no worries if you're a Comcast subscriber then you're all set. The pros of digital cable are a much clearer picture without the static from a bad signal. And when compared to satellite you don't have to go outside during or after snowstorms to remove the snow to get a signal again.
Most of Comcast's services are very affordable for the average household and their service packages come with great deals. Especially when you bundle their services. Not to mention they still offer local channels with a clearer image than you would get with a set top antenna. You also get an interactive program guide, Music Choice channels, Comcast OnDemand, high quality digital sound and even DVR if you choose that package.
Comcast High Speed Internet
In my opinion this is the best thing about Comcast. You get high speed access to the internet with very little service downtime and at an affordable price. With their bandwidth limits at 250 Gigabytes a month is very generous for the price. Nearly all users won't even use ten percent of that bandwidth in a whole month. The blazing speed of their service, up to 15MB/s bursts in my area, is amazing for an average consumer connection.
Comcast's Phone Services
From what I've researched if you bundle Comcast's phone services with other packages you save even more than you would paying them separate. Their service comes with unlimited local and long distance calling. There also offer more options, such as call-forwarding, call-waiting, caller ID and even voice mail. The service is completely unrestricted.
Comcast has been providing their cable services for a while now and are definitely a leader for that reason. With digital cable television, broadband internet and their telephone services they'll be at the top for a long time to come. If you're the type that loves to saturate yourself in the latest technology of television, internet and phone service then Comcast is for you.
