Why You Should Confess Your Sins

There are no shoulds or maybes when it comes to confessing your sins. You absolutely must confess them because Jesus died on the cross for all our sins. There is no reason not to confess since Christ already took the punishment for all sins. God tells us that one can not get into heaven without being forgiven for their sins. Only when you confess your sins can you be forgiven for them. Not confessing also leads to even more sins such as guilt, shame, and lying.

You should never be too proud or arrogant to confess your sins. Pride and arrogance are both traits that will send you to hell. Confess and you shall be free and completely forgiven. Not only will you be free of being punished for your sins, you will be free of the burden if you confess your sins. When you finally come clean, you will have a clear conscious and nothing to worry about.

No matter what type of Christian you are, you have to confess your sins because God tells you to. Nobody wants to face the angry wrath of God, so confess to please God and make him happy with you. God is not going to forgive you because he has to forgive you, his going to forgive you because you ask him to forgive you and have mercy on you.

God knows that we're all sinners so it's not new news to him. God is aware that no one is perfect and he doesn't expect anyone to be. If you want to have a relationship with God and walk on the path of righteousness with him, you need to confess your sins to him. There is no need to be ashamed of your sins, the only shame comes from trying to deny your sins. The only shame you should have will come from trying to be something you're not.You won't have to spend sleepless night burdened or weighted down by your sins and you will be happier with yourself too. God commands us to repent for our sins, and repentance does not happen without confession. God already knows what your sins are so why not confess them already? Why do you need to confess your sins? You need to confess because you can't get into heaven if you have not confessed. Confess because you have to be honest with God and yourself if you want to go to heaven.
