Why Content Spinners Don't Work for Keyword Article Marketing

Melanie L. Marten
For internet business owners who want to profit with article marketing, content spinners may seem like the answer to the unique content problem. Content spinners are software programs that take a written article and transform it into unique content. While the generation of unique content happens, content spinners do not work for keyword article marketing.

Article Marketing with Content Spinners - What They Do

Content spinners make unique articles from an existing written article. The programs most often use a type of thesaurus to replace words with close synonyms. Thus, the sentence, "Content spinners make unique articles from an existing written article," may become "Inclusion whirlers create original writings from already made penned pieces of writing." Does it mean the same thing? Yes, basically, but it makes less sense and does not demonstrate good writing skills.

Article Marketing with Content Spinners - The Point of Article Marketing

Website and blog owners use article marketing to drive targeted traffic to their site. This is done by writing a discoverable keyword article, including an author's bio with a clickable link to their site or blog, and submitting it to article directories.

The point of article marketing is two-fold. One, the backlinks created from quality article directories help with external search engine optimization, or SEO, for the website. Secondly, the articles have the opportunity to be picked up by other webmasters or bloggers and used as content on their own sites. This expands the link web even further.

Article Marketing with Content Spinners - The Problems

While articles created with content spinners would be accepted on most free article directories that do not pre-read the submissions, they will not be picked up by other website owners. They will also do nothing to further the impression that you are a business guru or knowledgeable expert on the article topic.

Content spinners create article that skirt the edges of proper English language usage, or ignore it altogether. Using these article programs, therefore, will cut off one side of the potential benefits of article marketing. No site owner or blogger will copy your article and author's biography on to their site if your content is scrambled.

Follow the directions in this article and learn how to write turn your article into many articles that you can use for article marketing. I have been using a content spinner that is exactly as is needed to make it work. Most writers seem to think that the spinnners are a threat to their livelihood and that will NEVER be the case. You have to start with quality before you can duplicate it, and you must have enough of a command of the english (or other language) language to keep the readability and quality intact.

If a writer uses a spinner like I'm suggesting, it can ONLY revolutionize his/her own business by increase the syndication of content.

For a client, you write the good quality original content, after-all they are your client and are paying for the work.

However, for your own web presence, why not leverage the work you have already done and get a broader exposure, thereby increasing your client base?

If you're interested, the content spinner is over at http://spinningwizard.com and its completely free.

content quality is solely the responsibility of the writer. The fact is: Content Spinners, do work...BUT it must be used correctly, and the spinner must give you the power to manually make the re-write so as to maintain readability and correct syntax. This is a non-negotiable.

First of all, the content is only as good as the content you put into it. With regards to the spinning element of it, you can spin it to whatever degree you want. You can change the structure, or just certain elements. Secondly, the system will retrieve different content for each article, so the information within the article will never be the same each time you create an article.

Also, it doesn't grab data from anywhere so it isn't plagiarism. You add the content blocks yourself. The system will basically manipulate the data and turn it into unique articles.

Just to add that I have a large number of articles on the web now created using this system and they have ALL been approved by the top directories and ALL are indexed within Google. None are in the supplemental index. At the end of the day, i'm gaining from using it and so are a number of my members who are using the system.

Tsu Dho Nimh, no I did not offer to pay you to write a positive review. I wouldn't pay anyone to write a review, or BRIBE them. Check you mail and you'll see it is not me.

And, trying your demo, it's less sophisticated than search and replace in a modern word processor. It's not recasting the sentence structure. It's not handling verb forms, prepositions or plurals. In short, it's easy to spot the artificiality of it with LSI.

Andy - didn't you offer to pay me if I'd write a positive review of your software? Or was it some other spinner? I may still have the email on my hard drive so be careful how you answer. www.associatedcontent.com/article/391353/content_spinning_can_this_seo_trick.html is my impression of the tool.

BTW, your "One IP address per affiliate" idea is not gonna work very well. It has to do with routers, firewalls and NAT addressing. Hundreds of simultaneos users can have one IP address on the net.

I need to add that if Andy or anyone can convince me otherwise that the program does not pull content from others articles, I will gladly change my statement. Until then, I CANNOT recommend products like that.

The problem I have with article spinners like Andy states is WHERE they get the "relevant data" from. Undoubtedly, it gets these other sentences from content already on the web. This is PLAGIARISM. You can't use other people's sentences to write your own article.

  • Andy1/20/2009

I understand what you are saying with regards to SOME article spinners. The automated ones tend to generate a load of giberish that is unacceptable for publishing anywhere. This isn't the case for all of them. Not meaning to plug my own creation, but more to stand my ground with instant article creation. My new system which is called Article Writer Pro, professionally creates an a highly unique, perfectly readable article. It allows you to choose your tighly related topics for each paragraph and then retrieve relevant data and spins a brand new version. You readers may want to try the free demo out rather than try and get their heads around what I am saying. A demo is available here...

In my biased opinion, this tool is one of the best tools out there, and one which gives you full control over each article.

Great info. I'm still not good with the whole key word business. (my mind is stuck in the "writing for print" days...)
