Why Democratic Women Hate Sarah Palin

And Why This Reveals the Scam of the Feminist Movement

Clark Kent: Household How-To's
I've evaluated each comment and article from some of the most outspoken women politicians and journalists in the Democratic party. All reactions to Governor Sarah Palin are one of unified visceral. They hate Palin because she's a threat; she's the anti-feminist. She represents a majority of women who in the last decade made a conscience decision to shed their "woe is me" label and take on the old boy network. These women who, by no surprise come from the Republican party and share conservative values; are the new faces of female leadership in America. You have to wonder why the most successful female leaders in America and the world are traditionally conservative or at least center right; take Margaret Thatcher for instance. But here's the gist of my article. Liberal women see Sarah Palin as the end of their feminist cause. Palin is a mother of five, she works, she's a lifetime member of the NRA, she supports a culture of life (pro-Life) and she sports the nickname "Barracuda"

They're outraged at the very fact John McCain had an open mind. But what they really despise is the fact that their old arguments don't work anymore. The fear tactics of Roe V Wade and the possibility of that being overturned isn't working. Women, much to the dismay of the Democratic party aren't single issue voters. If so then Kerry would have gotten a larger portion than Bush in 2004. Women focus on the economy, national security as well as someone who shares their values and can relate to them. What those self-centered, bitter liberal feminists don't realize is that Sarah Palin reflects the views of almost 70% of all women in America. Most women are pro-life, have large families and believe and support a culture of life in American society. The dribble spewing, angst riddled lefty bra burners like Maureen Dowd and Gloria Steinem are voices of a small, fading minority of women who hold extremist left-wing views. Women are rising up from their limited spaces and instead challenging the old boy establishment without resorting to the "sexist" label or the old feminist strong arm tactics of the 1960s. Feminism from the left as we know it is dieing. I know so because of the reaction to Sarah Palin. They see their efforts stone walled and a reveal of the scam; the scam being that the feminist movement is for the few, not for all women. I have yet to see Gloria Steinem, Maureen Dowd, and the others on the female far-left stand up in the name of all women left or right. I mean, if feminism is a credible cause then your ideology would not be a litmus test now would it?

Yesterday I heard actress Ashley Judd talk about how Sarah Palin's views on abortion are that of an extreme stance; but I would contest that comments made by Gloria Steinem about Sarah Palin and female views in general is quite extreme. You see the feminist left is losing their trump card. Abortion is an issue that has over stayed its welcome. Most reasonable Americans realize Roe V. Wade won't be overturned and that states should have the power to decide in that regard. Sarah Palin herself said that she supports a culture of life as a personal view but wouldn't impose that view on the states. I guess liberals conveniently left that part out of the conversation. So when you decide on who you want to vote for don't let fear tactics from either side affect your vote. Fact is fear is the only way either side can win. Neither side has a clear grasp on the issues and neither side wants to be accountable for the Democratic led Congress or the Republican president. So you make your own choice and avoid the misleading and the distorted strategies. In the end they need us more than we need them.

All women should either vote for McCain or don't vote for McCain. But no woman with any normal rational and a strong sense of character should hate Sarah Palin. You should not hate Sarah Palin because you are Sarah Palin. All women, left, right, middle, or apathetic. There's a bit of her in all of you. Mother, sister, best friend, coworker, teacher, and so on. So I hope females out there don't fall victim to victim hood that oozes slowly from the mouths of arrogant and bitter feminists whose only priority is to advance the agenda of a few women and impose their will on all women. No longer should the left hold women hostage with identity politics and fear. Just as they should not hold African Americans hostage with racial divisive tactics and the Civil Rights movement. Remember, it was a Republican president who signed the Emancipation Proclamation. By the way if all these "feminists" like Maureen Dowd are so "pro-woman" and the cause of women then why was she one of many gutter snipes taking aim at Hillary Clinton during the Democratic Primary? Whatever happen to womanhood? I guess race trumps gender in the Democratic party.

Don't know about Democratic women, but this Republican mother of five doesn't like Sarah Palin. I think of her as a pseudo feminist or a pseudo traditionallist. God bless my 19 year old daughter for not getting pregnant outside of marriage (my 17 and 15 year old sons for not getting girlfriends pregnant either) , but I would love and support her regardless. I just wouldn't highlight her condition to the entire country. And, my husband and I teach our kids personal responsibility and fully endorse them being fully educated about sexuality, STDs and the consequences of choices they might make. I wouldn't want Palin influencing what my kids should learn in school, and I fear she would want to influence it, as she has in Alaska

And it isn't just women Democrats who may feel this way, conservatives like George Will concur.

Well, I really dislike Palin, yet for me your assumptions are totally off target. I dislike her for the following reasons: I dislike liars, and she continues to lie throughout the campaign (remember that bridge?). I dislike anyone who tries to infringe on our first amendment right, she did explore censorship while on the city council of Wasilla. I dislike anyone who would promote the brutal and inhumane aerial slaughter of wolves. I dislike a PARENT (mother or father) who would - without blinking - toss her daughter's privacy under the bus by accepting the nomination without even considering how such a world wide public scrutiny of her pregnancy would be fodder for the likes of National Enquire. And to assume "They're outraged at the very fact John McCain had an open mind" is way out there. Many of us are outraged that McCain, considering his health, would put our country at jeopardy by choosing a VP so woefully unqualified. And it isn't just women Democrats who may feel this wa

You don't see Sarah Palin as a feminist? Her politics may be conservative, but her lifestyle is ultra-feminist. I can't speak for the likes of Geraldine Ferraro or Hillary Clinton, whose feminism is stridently anti-male - but the idea that you can have it all is a feminist illusion and Sarah Palin epitomizes it. All of us mothers have to mommy track our lives at times - we work hard but at 'coast' with regard to professional and political acceleration when our children are young or particularly in need. We put family first, over and over again. No offense to Sarah Palin, if it works for her, fine, but she put family in coast and career in high gear at a very critical juncture. What would you think of Hillary if she has a wee bade up there on the dais and a pregnant teen and and said she was ready to take on even more professional and political responsibility? I wouldn't think highly of her (and don't) and I don't think highly of Sarah Palin in this position either.
