I didn't want you to leave
I was foolish not to think
Things happened to change all just within a blink
I miss you more than you will ever know
The last thing that I wanted was for you to go
I had faith that there was protection
In reality it was the wrong direction
Every day that passes by
I think of you and it makes me cry
