Why Did I Choose OSX?

90% of the world computer users are using Windows operating systems. There are different reasons for this. I was also contributing to this "global dominance" until a year ago, when I have decided to have a look outside the comfort zone/the box of what was fed to me by my education establishments and people around. My investigation on other opportunities available to control my PC commenced

Being a "newby" in the world of Operating systems I went to IT forums related to this subject. After filtering through the information, two apparent and most commonly mentioned alternatives to Windows were visible to me - Linux Ubuntu and Apple OSX.

The easiest option for an "alternative system trial" was Ubuntu as it is available for free and is relatively easy to instal on a Laptop. The problems started when trying to configure the system. As LINUX was for me just a word that is associated with a geeky computer guy, configuring the system was like a walk in the dark. After tweaking it for a couple of days I have completely ruined the OS and had to reinstall Windows on my machine.

After months and months of hesitation thorough research and thinking, I have took the decision to purchase an OSX based laptop. Once the product arrived I was pleasantly impressed by the sleek design of the machine and a feeling of only having what you need... The operating system seemed complicated and different in the beginning but after a month of usage I have understood how simple, logic and straight forward is OSX I was completely overwhelmed by the speed and beauty of this OS and it became my favorite Operating System.
