Why Did You Go so Far Away from Me ???

A Question Without Any Answer

SAIKAT KUMAR DUTTA
Flowers are blooming like before, also green grasses are growing on land,

Though, I always feel your presence, but I can't able to touch your hand !!!!!

Oh ! Dear father,

Still, I have so many words for you to say.........

Leaving your one and only son, why did you go so far away ?

Mournful sunset is occurring daily, along with a regular cheerful sunrise,

Though, you are not physically here, but I can remember your any advice.

Oh ! Dear father,

Still, I have so many words for you to say.........

Leaving your one and only son, why did you go so far away ?

Killing of life is doing on the Earth, and nests are producing new nestlings,

Though, you are not near to me, but I am always receiving your blessings !

Oh ! Dear father,

Still, I have so many words for you to say.........

Leaving your one and only son, why did you go so far away ?

Hate can end a relation; also a sweet love can bring two hearts very near,

Accident can stop the motion of a life, but who can stop my painful tear ?

Oh ! Dear father,

Still, I have so many words for you to say.........

Leaving your one and only son, why did you go so far away ?

God has been producing a flower, and producing the sting of a honey bee,

Death can snatch your life, but never can it steal your actual love for me !!!!

Oh ! Dear father,

Still, I have so many words for you to say.........

Leaving your one and only son, why did you go so far away ?

The question I still ask of my father, gone many years. I can still hear his advice and feel his love from so many years away.

Very heartfelt and poignant; I lost my father long ago, and then my mother, so I can relate to the sense of loss. But I am sure that your father is blessing you and with you in spirit.

Ahh...but keep searching for the answer. Such a sad but important question God could never let go unanswered, and a happy answer at that.

I certainly could feel your pain through your expression of words.

Those of us who have lost our own fathers can relate to this poem.
