Why Did God Create Us and This Universe??

Most of us wonder about God, this universe and the reason this universe was created. People have varied ideas.

One view is that all the souls lived with God. But some of the souls like us did not obey him or were envious of him, so were sent to prison.....the earth. So we get liberated only when we accept God to be supreme, leave all our ego and remember him and worship him at the most.

Another view is God is supreme enjoyer. So he created this earth and material nature. Material nature makes us dance on her tunes which is enjoyment for the Lord.

My view is just like a couple decides to have a baby, not for the sake of enjoyment only, but to see their reflection in something of their own, to have some one of their own to love and pass on their characteristics. Similarly God created us, his children. Just as a father teaches discipline to his son and punishes him but only out of love, similarly God behaves with us like a father.

He made this beautiful universe for us to live happily . He set rules for us to follow. If we break them we get punished. He loves all living beings equally. So if we give pain to any other being, its like giving pain to one of his child.

He gave us the liberty to make choices. If we make the wrong one we suffer.

Many people would hate to agree with this view. Darwin's theory of evolution has made a noticible mark on the minds of people. But there are flaws with Darwin's theory which people overlook. The reason may be that no other alternative theory has been proposed till date which backs it up with scientific proofs and evidences.

But there is a creation and hence there has to be a creator believe it or not.
