Why Did I Get Married Bootleg P2P Movie is a Hot Search Item, but Tyler Perry Says Please Pay for the Movie
Bootleg P2P Copies of Why Did I Get Married Movie a Hot Commodity, but Tyler Perry Asks Fans to Pay for His Movie in the Theaters
All these search terms I constantly see coming thru for my other websites all mean one thing: People want to see Tyler Perry's hot new "Why Did I Get Married?" movie on bootleg.
They want "Why Did I Get Married?" on bootleg. They want it thru bit torrent. They want it thru the file-sharing P2P. Basically, they want to see "Why Did I Get Married?" now, online -- and most of all, they want it free.
I can't blame them.
If I didn't have the money to see "Why Did I Get Married?" in theaters, I'd want to watch it online. But thank God I was able to go on a date night with my husband and see it the day it came out last Friday, and laugh along with my church's sponsored group.
We laughed so loud at some parts of "Why Did I Get Married?" -- I won't do a spoiler alert and ruin the fun surprise of the dinner party scene -- that I didn't even hear all the parts of the movie I wanted to hear.
So I want to go see it again, since there's no legal way to watch the "Why Did I Get Married" movie online right now -- except for bootleg copies. Which gets my goat that the movie studios and such don't realize just how huge the demand is to watch movies that have just come out in the theater online on the personal computers of the viewing public.
Amazon Unbox and iTunes are at the edge of the curve in offering some movies available to download and watch online, but even they need to step it up and offer new movies like "Why Did I Get Married" online in order to take some of the advertising profit away from the sites that offer it on bootleg.
Why all the hoopla over bootleg copies of "Why Did I Get Married?"
Because "Why Did I Get Married?" was such a good movie! The setting was stellar, though not filmed in the Colorado location it was set in, but in Canada, as Tyler Perry and Janet Jackson said when interviewed.
And Jill Scott's performance as overweight Sheila with a mean husband (though in real life, he's a minister and man of God) resonated with women who've endured the same type of rotten treatment from their mates.
Tyler Perry said that the enemy was really fighting him when "Why Did I Get Married?" was about to release. He couldn't get the number of screens he wanted, other spiritual forces were trying to hinder him, and when he finally sneaked in the movie theater and sat in the back to watch it, he knew why.
Perry said that he saw women laughing and crying and enjoying the movie that affected them deep within their souls.
My friend said that in Memphis, her sister had to buy tickets six hours in advance.
So no wonder people are seeking out bootleg copies of the "Why Did I Get Married?" movie so hot and heavy. But Tyler Perry sent another email two days before his movie came out, talking about a dream he had.
The Lord speaks to me in my dreams, too, in that Alpha (and Omega!) state when I first wake up. Perry said God knew that he needed to tell people not to buy this movie on bootleg, but to pay for it opening weekend (it's not too late to still go make this movie number #1 for the second week in a row -- I pray, I pray!) and to make sure our tickets actually say "Why Did I Get Married?" so the theaters don't bootleg his movie in a worst way by giving another movie the credit for it.

Great work. No more bootleg!
Excellent point Carol, Mr. Perry deserves to make a living as well.
Ah... saw a comment down there I'd like to respond to. Now, I'm a capitalist: I believe an artist should make money from his creation. I don't like people bootlegging a recent movie (or game) - not just opening weekend, but for at least a couple years thereafter. Even so, I'm more open-minded than I used to be: I download ten-year-old video games and watch old TV series online, all for free and not exactly kosher, but - AS A WRITER - I feel that this is far from "misuse of intellectual property." These things are made to be enjoyed, or to offer information, and I'm all for their online distribution through unusual channels. I'd much rather know that my book were getting read and enjoyed than that only a few people ever knew about it because it's out of print and everybody's too scared to share it with people who were still in diapers when I wrote it.
I totally agree. This goes for any movie and great job on what Carol Gilber wrote. Great job
YES, WOW, ISINT THAT A REAL STORY, WITH GREAT FEELINGS TO LEARN FROM THEM
I thought the movie was great!
Honestly, I don't keep up with movies that much anymore. I will have to keep this one in mind.
