Why Did Michigan Democrats Re-elect Granholm, the Governor with the Worst Jobless Rate?

Michigan voters reelected a Governor with the worst jobless rate in the ENTIRE country. Perhaps too many Michigan voters were sniffing glue on election day? How else can you explain such behavior? Have Michigan voters become so "dumbed-down" that they voted based on the pure propaganda by the Michigan Democratic Party?

"The buck stops here" was a reminder placed on Truman's desk. Apparently Governor Granholm is not willing to take a position of responsibility like Truman. Governor Granholm appointed a 12 member emergency commission panel to figure out how she will get Michigan out of the dung heap. Where is the leadership in this? More wasted Michigan tax dollars!

Many are predicting that there will be a tax increase in Michigan. This is quite possibly the most insane solution to our problems here in Michigan. With the worst economy in the country, this is the last thing any competent elected official would consider. Increasing Michigan taxes will destroy our struggling Michigan economy. Small business owners would be forced to hire fewer employees and part of the tax increase would surely be passed onto Michigan consumers.

Michigan Democrats care about the GROWTH of their own government and not your average small business owner. Once again Michigan Democrats will fail families and children throughout the state of Michigan. We will see how happy those who voted for Granholm are when their state government reaches into their pockets.

Every time across the board marginal tax cuts have been enacted, tax revenues have increased! Remember - small businesses, unlike corporations, pay individual tax rates. Small businesses create the majority of jobs that employ the low to middle class Michigan residents.

More businesses and residents will leave Michigan if Michigan Democrats have their way with your hard earned money. As it is Michigan ranks #1 for people leaving their state. Link Michigan Democrats will destroy this economy more than they already have.

Here is a suggestion to the Michigan Democrats - cut the size of government and cut our taxes! I know both are very difficult for Democrats to comprehend but history has shown that it works.

Michigan Democrats do what is in the best interests of the size of government. Michigan Democrats recently betrayed families and children by their effort to stop Michigan House Bill 5267 which would help many families and children throughout this state. This bill would have reduced crime, drug use, and the large amount of tax dollars spent on addressing these problems with a band-aid approach. Instead, Michigan Democrats ignored families and children and sided with the rich law lobby and various extremist groups.

A tax increase would be yet another example of how Michigan Democrats have failed families throughout Michigan. We can no longer afford to trust the actions of Michigan Democrats. All we can do is hope that Michigan voters kick their habit of sniffing glue by the next election cycle.
